Prevention of RPL and blighted ovum

Nearly half of all miscarriages suffered in first trimester are associated with blighted ovum. Blighted Ovum has also been referred to as an 'anembryonic pregnancy'. Chromosomal abnormalities and poor quality egg or sperm are highlighted as the most common causes of blighted ovum but conditions like PCOS, Diabetes, Immune disorders, Thyroid dysfunction, as well as Raised LH and Prolactin may also lead to this problem. At our centre, if treatment is started at the time when the pregnancy test is positive (35 days) then, Blighted Ovum is very rare.

Salvaging Threatened Abortion

Bleeding during pregnancy is common, especially during the first trimester, and usually is a cause of alarm for RPL patients .Specialized treatment at this Center could salvage these pregnancies if fetalcardiac activity is still present.

Restoring reduced FETAL movement

Fetal movements are reassuring to women and, conversely, a reduction in fetal movements commonly is a cause for concern. Reduced or absent movements have been associated with a poor perinatal outcome and have been recorded by majority of the patients who had still born neonate prior to delivery. Oligohydramnios is commonly associated with reduced fetal movements. Ensuring adequate Amniotic Fluid during pregnancy is thus essential for a successful pregnancy outcome. Timely intervention may help to save the pregnancy. Help us to help you.

Prevention of Intra Uterine Death & IUGR

Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is a term used for a baby who is smaller than normal during pregnancy. A diagnosis of IUGR is given if your baby's weight is below the tenth percentile for his or her gestational age. IUGR can occur if the placentalblood supply is impaired or if the mother's nutrition, health, or lifestyle prevents the healthy growth of her fetus. Regular monitoring of pregnancy may help prevent this.

In IVF Pregnancies to prevent RPL

Miscarriage rate is18.7% in successful IVF pregnancies. Miscarriage rate is three times higher in IVF pregnancies in women over 40 years of age. With appropriate treatment these pregnancies may be saved.

Antenatal, natal & Post natal services

Regular monitoring of pregnancy from conception to delivery as well as a continual post natal followup is essential for safe motherhood.

Male Impotency

Impotence is a common problem among men and is characterized by the consistent inability to sustain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse or the inability to achieve ejaculation, or both. This condition may resolve with proper treatment.
